After a long, somewhat depressing winter, the sun is shining again.
How is it already April?? I've been in Erfurt for 9 months now. Time has really flown by. I was back in Texas for a few days in March. I also visited Prague.
Other than that I've been too busy for any traveling. I'm also trying to save up some money. I wish I had time for more traveling, but grad school + work is keeping me here in Erfurt for the most part. Maybe now that the sun is shining I'll venture around on my bike.
I'll be doing an internship (hopefully) in Kurunegala, Sri Lanka this summer. I say hopefully because my visa application is still being processed, and that's the only thing holding me back from buying my ticket there.
I don't know what to expect at all, and that's what I'm most excited about.
I don't have a lot to say right now. I'd really like to stay suspended in this part of my life, so hopefully I can capture some of that energy and save it for a time when that's not the case. I wish I felt like writing about what I'm studying, or doing day to day, but I'll save that for another time. Maybe when I'm in Sri Lanka.
